In 2007, Louisiana was at a crossroads. We elected a new Governor, and due to term-limits, have had a significant turnover in the Legislature.

More than ever, voters need to know who our new leaders are, what they stand for, and what they’ll do if elected. They need a source of information that cuts through the distractions and gives them the tools to make informed decisions. That’s what CABL’s nonpartisan election information initiative is all about.

Knowing the political leadership in Louisiana has changed, CABL again challenged candidates to discuss important issues in in-depth and substantive ways. We will continue to address these issues as our new leaders take office and hold them accountable for things they stated during the elections.
